Important Teacher Information

1. Work Study Program
Volunteers of member teachers wishing to work six (6) hours during our workshop, may participate in our Work-Study Student tuition program. If you have a parent that would be interested please call the office at 408-926-0221 prior to April 5, 2012.

2. Workshop Fee Includes: Master Dance Classes, Talent Showcase, and DJ Dessert Party.
Senior Students: suggested minimum age 12 years and 4 years of dance training
Junior Students: suggested minimum age 9 years with 2 years of dance training
Kids Klub: suggested age 5-8 years currently enrolled in dance

3. NO BALLROOM SWITCHING - Students must stay in the ballroom for which they are registered! Only Teachers and Assistants are allowed in the Teacher’s Ballroom!

4. Teachers only will be allowed to video tape Master Classes.

5. DRESS CODE: All Teachers and students must adhere to the DMC dress code. Proper dance attire, dance shoes, and hair worn away from the face. “COVER-UPS” must be worn outside of the ballroom.

6. STUDENTS: There is an 11:30PM curfew for all students attending the workshop. Students must be properly chaperoned at all times.

7. Hotel Information: Hyatt Regency Hotel, 5101 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara 95054. Phone 408-200-1234. Please tell them you are with DMC.

1. Please remind your parents that there is a Showcase admission fee of $5.00.

2. No video taping or photography, including digital and cell phone cameras, will be allowed at any time during the competition and Showcase. This is for the safety and protection of all students.
