Information
Dance
Masters of America is an association of tested members with the
goals to advance the art of dancing and improve the practice of
its teaching.
Requirements
for Membership
Must
be a Dance Teacher 18 years or older
Must
have conducted dance schools or have taught in established dance
schools for 3 or more years.
Must
take an exam in the dance subjects he/she teaches, OR, have a Dance
Degree from a credited College, OR, submit proof that you have danced
professionally for a period of not less than three years.

information magazine published quarterly.
Special
reduced ASCAP and BMI yearly rates when paid through DMA.
Bi-yearly
educational master dance workshops for members and member's students.
Special
Master Classes weekend (for teachers and teacher's assistants
only).
Solo
Title Competitions, Dance Scholarship Auditions and Performing Arts
Competitions for member's students.
The
privilege of using the Dance Masters of America Emblem in your advertising.
A membership
certificate, suitable for display in your place of business.
Other
DMC Benefits
Member's students, age 14 to 21, may join as Jr. Members of DMC.
Workshop
discounts for Members and Jr. Members.
Attending
Grand body meeting at workshops each year where members have voting
privileges.
Membership
Fees
Annual fee of $75.00 National Dues, $35.00 DMC. Dues total
of $110.00 for each fiscal year - September 1st through August 31.
One
time registration fee of $10.00

with Dance Masters of California and Dance Masters of America, Inc.
